Classic Land Rover Repairs Gearboxes for series I, II, IIA & III
The Series I, II, IIA and III of the Land Rover gearbox remained basically unchanged from 1948 to 1970.
Our specialist in house technician has extensive knowledge in the common faults found in these gearboxes and transfer boxes, namely second gear damage due to no synchromesh, broken mains hafts and general failure of parts due to the age of the units.
The units are fully striped and all parts inspected for damage and wear and tear before reassembly into the casing, ready for testing before being given back to the customer or refitted back into the vehicle.
